Description Sirius Technical Services is seeking a Systems Engineer III to work a year long assignment in Newport News, VA. Candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses will be performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Looking for someone with 5 Years experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years experience with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Special Requirements IT Agile Coach, to continue to grow and mature agile capabilities, seeking an experienced agilest who can train and coach new teams, as well as improve the discipline and maturity of the nine existing teams. Candidate must be familiar with one or more agile varieties and had previous work experience as an agile team member. Experience leading agile transformation at a programmatic and team level is preferred. Primary Duties: • Enterprise Maturity Advancement – Assist with the advancement of organizational agile maturity through the following: o Responsible for maintaining and making improvements to the current agile process, as well as development and roll-out of new agile techniques (such as KanBan). o Spreading awareness of the benefits of agile thinking and practices throughout the IT organization and the business; o Pursuing/growing top down support of the agile transition initiative; o Assessing, at regular intervals, organizational maturity and utilizing the results to build action plans for improvement; o Improving maturity awareness by publishing the results of the survey and action planning throughout the organization. o Lead cross-team collaboration efforts, knowledge sharing, and action plan completion. o Provide recommendations to leadership on all actions necessary to measure and advance our organizational agile maturity. • Team Coaching – Enable teams to mature their agile practice through consistent and timely coaching on basic and advanced agile principles and concepts. This includes the following: o Work with new agile teams intensely for approximately 3 months to ensure good practices and principals are adopted. Continue to provide support to teams on an on-going basis; o Regularly attending team ceremonies for each assigned team; o Ensuring team roles are well understood o Providing additional guidance/recommendations for specific team needs (upon request and based on analysis/observation); o Leading, at regular intervals, team maturity assessments and utilizing the results to build action plans for improvement; o Analyzing industry best practice and bringing awareness to applicable practices within individual teams or through organization level training. o Guiding on tool best practices and ensuring adoption • Training – Conduct new team, advanced, and “agile essential” training courses.
