Administrator-to handle installation, administration, development, and user support of VPD (PDMS) software to support design and construction of the US EPR. Specifically includes user training input, Administrative Configuration, deliverable configuration and interface with other modules and the IMS overall. The responsibilities include:
Oversee and expedite the configuration of engineering deliverables work practices,
Troubleshoot and resolve problems
Provide sound technical solutions to problems,
Primary interface point with design engineering organizations for VPD (PDMS),
Primary interface point with AVEVA regarding technical issues,
Log and administer outstanding issues with AVEVA,
Coordinate with software upgrades with remote design sites per configuration management plan,
Maintain specific work practice procedures,
Provide training basis for internal & partner company training,
Direct deployment of partner companies & customers.
New Plants Engineering Information Management System is responsible for the design & implementation of the process, software, & communications infrastructure required to support the design, procurement, construction & startup of the US EPR.
Create & structure US EPR document data base to reflect US EPR project needs
Create electronic work flow & electronic signature verification
Develop electronic submittal & receipt of project & technical documents with organizations external to AREVA NP
Establish a multi-company collaborative project management environment
Fully implement the plant design software to support US EPR design, procurement, construction, testing, & turnover

High School Diploma plus 14 years of related technical experience. AAS, BA or BS in a technical discipline may be substituted for 2 to 4 years of related work experience,
Possesses comprehensive knowledge in particular field of specialization to the completion of significant assignments,
5+ years PDMS experience with one or more of the following: VPD Admin, CATS & SPECS
5+ years AutoCAD experience,
Familiarity & experience with complete set of Vantage products & integration between them,
Demonstrated ability to work within the team supporting plant engineering & design |
